The two pharmacists arraigned
with the murderer of Cynthia Osokogu have been released unconditionally.
The two men, Maduakor
Chukwunonso and Orji Osita worked at Oxpharm Pharmacy and allegedly sold
Rohpynol Flunitrazepam-a sedative- to
the killers without proper prescription.
Counsel to the duo, Uchenna
Nwoye, said they were released based on the advice of the Director of Public
Prosecution.
They ought not
to have been arraigned with the self-confessed murderers in the first place.
But, we have high level off illiteracy in the police force.
They are quick
to round up people and herd them to court without first asking themselves if
they have enough evidence to prosecute them for the crime they are pinning on
them.
To the boys just
released, sorry o! Be more careful next time.
